Bonjour Deers, here’s what shipped this week.

**Android Updates**

- Unified section and unit colors in the Main Course so things look cleaner.
- Fixed progress display issues in My Courses.
- Squashed a handful of exercise bugs that were annoying literally everyone.

We’re also cooking up a much better notification system for your SRS reviews.

**Quick PSA: if you see a red dot on your Review tab**, that means you have fifty or more flashcards waiting. Please don’t let your reviews turn into a medieval punishment. Your future self will thank you.

**Website**

In case you missed yesterday’s ping, our **2025 Black Friday Sale** is live.
Check it out here: [https://blog.lingodeer.com/content/files/2026/07/index.html](https://blog.lingodeer.com/devlog/)

If anything breaks while activating your membership, email [**blog@lingodeer.com**](mailto:blog@lingodeer.com) and they’ll get you sorted.

**Huge Update to ChineseSkill**

If you didn’t know, ChineseSkill is our oldest child, and this week it got a *massive* glow-up. Available now on Android. iOS coming soon. New features, expanded courses, polished UI, and a whole lot more behind the scenes.

I’ll be breaking everything down in detail over on [r/ChineseSkill](http://reddit.com/r/chineseskill?ref=blog.lingodeer.com), so come hang out there too if you’re curious.

And no, LingoDeer isn’t being left behind. ChineseSkill is where we test Chinese-specific features and experiment with new ideas that *might* eventually make their way into LingoDeer if the community wants them.

Your feedback genuinely shapes what we build next, so let us know what you think.
